The Organisers wish to thank Penrith District Nitro Racing Inc (PDNR) for their help in organising the scale radio control cars and activities at Kids Race Day.
PDNR are a group of enthusiastic remote control racers who get together every Tuesday night to go racing. "PDNR have an emphasis on fun and having a go, rather than 'sheep station' serious competition".
Each year PDNR bring their temporary racetrack to the children at Oran Park on the last Sunday before Christmas with all proceeds from drivers helping to raise much-needed funds to help support kids race day annually.
And then there's the charity challenge; lining up the 1/8th scale Serpent 960 of Steve O'Connor against whatever the KRD organisers can throw at it. In the past the RC demo on the main straigh has been againainst Raj Sharma in his XR8 Brute Ute in 2003, a Valiant Drag car in 2004, Nissan 300ZX and Police motorcycle in 2007, and V8 Highway Patrol in 2008...who will it be in 2009?
More details on PDNR are available from their website - www.pdnracing.org.au
